KIANTAMA ACHIEVED THE HIGHEST BRC GRADE
In the latest BRC audit conducted in April 2023 Kiantama managed to upgrade to AA level, which is the highest grade for BRC global standard for food safety. Originally the company received BRC certificate in 2021 and continuous development work has been made since then. We strive to pay attention to even smallest details in production facilities, document management, tracking and reporting. “BRC operations have become routine and everybody in the company knows what they are for”, says CEO Vernu Vasunta. “We were especially pleased when the experienced auditor pointed out that we have done exemplary good job and that he has seldom seen so committed personnel in a company.”
EVERYBODY CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE DEVELOPMENT
The commitment of Kiantama personnel is shown for example in the amount of initiatives. The company has an established system which encourages people to make initiatives regarding their own work or working environment overall. Initiatives are regularly monitored and put into action if possible. All initiators are rewarded with money or product prizes.
BRC is internationally recognized standard for food safety and known to be one of the two most demanding food safety management systems that are widely used. The certificate is essential for customer co-operation, both domestically and in exports.
